N V Ramana is currently an Advisor with Samunnati Agri Value Chain Finance company. He was professor and Dean at Aurora’s Business School, Hyderabad. He is also a senior consultant and advisor in the development and agribusiness space. He worked as Consultant of World Bank and GIZ on various projects. He was the Chairman of Agri Watch and Indian Society of Agribusiness Professionals (ISAP).

As the Group CEO of BASIX-India, he increased their client base from fifty thousand to half a million with multiple livelihood services. He was responsible for developing innovative products in Savings and other Microfinance services in his capacity as CEO of Krishna Bhima Samruddhi Local Area Bank (KBSLAB).

Ramana has expertise in the areas of Financial Inclusion, Rural and Agricultural value chain Financing , Banking and Micro financing , Strategic Management, Business Development Services, Building sustainable business models, Rural and agri-business management

He beganhis career with the Agribusiness division of the ITC group of companies and served there in various capacities for two decades. He did his Bachelors in Dairy Technology and a Management degree from IIM Ahmadabad.
